Warning: phanes.cloud Netherlands Hosting – Poor Service & Reported Scam Company

With 16 years of experience in the replica e-commerce industry, I have used various offshore DMCA-ignored hosting servers to build websites — including servers in the United States and Canada, Bulgaria, the Netherlands, Hungary, Russia, Romania, Malaysia, and more. Considering overall factors such as cost-performance ratio, stability, regional policies, and connection speed, Dutch servers remain my top recommendation.

If you have experience building replica e-commerce websites, you’ll notice that most DMCA-ignored servers in the Netherlands are concentrated in the Amsterdam area — likely due to the region’s more tolerant policies.

Important Warning: Never use third-party hosting providers such as WebSoft9, Hostinger, or Bluehost to build your website. These mainstream hosting services do not support DMCA-ignored hosting. Once your site starts getting traffic, it can be forcibly taken down without notice — leading to permanent data loss and business failure.

The advantages of using Netherlands servers for DMCA-ignored hosting are reflected in the following aspects:

1. DMCA Ignored Hosting

Dedicated DMCA-ignored servers completely disregard copyright complaints. The hosting provider only accepts official paper-based legal documents that can be verified for authenticity. These must be physically mailed to the company or issued directly by law enforcement. Otherwise, all complaints are ignored by default. This strict policy is clearly stated in their official public notice board.

2. Guaranteed Data Safety

Some strict offshore hosting providers will not immediately suspend your server even if they receive legitimate documents from brand owners. Instead, they take a neutral stance — saying: “You resolve the issue yourselves first.” This creates a grey area with interesting implications.

After all, the world is huge, and sellers of such products are everywhere. Can a brand’s legal team really chase every single infringer? Are they working 24/7 with no rest just to file takedown requests?

The same old truth applies: the cost of brand enforcement is too high and the reach is limited — this is a global reality.

This gives independent website owners enough time to back up and secure their data before any potential shutdown.

Never use phanes.cloud hosting – a scam company!

For those with programming skills, when researching Dutch servers, it’s common to search on Google and come across many VPS hosting review sites. Among them, you may find promotional content from a company called phanes.cloud.

But to be honest, most of these so-called reviewers and affiliate marketers are just armchair analysts. They have no real user experience, and much of their content is simply copied from official hosting provider websites. Their reviews are often careless and highly misleading.

Many of the services they promote turn out to be completely different from what was advertised.

Take today’s example — phanes.cloud — this is a truly fraudulent company. I stake my reputation on this: their promotions are mostly false, and anyone who uses their services is bound to regret it. Today, drawing from my painful experience of being scammed, I warn everyone: phanes.cloud is a bona fide scam company!

First, let’s take a look at what ChatGPT tells us:

phanes.cloud is actually the rebranded version of flaunt7. Early users may remember this name — their servers were notoriously unstable. Later, they switched to the new identity “phanes.cloud,” which made it difficult for many people to recognize them — including myself.

Unfortunately, I was also deceived by them this time, resulting in a loss of over €5,000.

Everyone, take a look — this company’s server prices are even higher than those of well-established and reputable providers. It’s absolutely insane!

Half a year ago, their pricing was very attractive: a 16-core, 64GB configuration with unlimited bandwidth cost only €2,219.88 per year. They also offered big discounts to attract customers, including a 20% discount that lowered the price to €1,775.90.

The image below shows their earlier pricing version.

Now, they have madly raised their prices to €2,970 (about $3,340 USD).

In comparison, a reputable and stable server provider with 17 years of experience offers the same configuration for only $2,539.80 USD.

please look at it,

I Have serious doubts that this company might be planning to shut down soon and attempt one last major scam.

I also strongly suspect that their server hardware is either severely outdated and long discontinued or scavenged from some second-hand market. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be so reluctant to even disclose the CPU model.

Complete Chain of Evidence

1). Highly Unstable & Prone to Downtime

I previously deployed several non-critical site clusters (non-client sites) on phanes.cloud servers. From March 1, 2024 onwards, in just over two months, the servers went down more than three times—in fact, the total outages exceeded five.

What Does “Downtime” Mean?

Downtime in the cloud-hosting industry is classified as a Level-1 incident. With any reputable provider, you’d struggle to see even a single outage in an entire year. Yet phanes.cloud experienced five outages in just two months—that’s an average of one every ten days. This speaks volumes about how unstable and unreliable their service really is.

Downtime wreaks havoc on our operations. An outage at 2 AM can burn through your entire night’s ad budget with zero returns, spike customer complaints, trigger chargebacks and disputes, and—especially for high-traffic sites—inflict major revenue losses. Simply put, this level of risk makes phanes.cloud completely unthinkable; it’s a surefire way to leave you frustrated and helpless.

So what finally made me abandon phanes.cloud? On April 12, 2024, I opened a support ticket for yet another outage. Days later, their servers still suffered from one problem after another—MySQL wouldn’t start, RAM usage crawled, you name it. That’s just how terrible their hosting truly is.

2). Terrible Maintenance & Support

Typically, when an outage or server instability occurs, a reputable provider restores service immediately—often within minutes. Established hosts offer 24/7 guaranteed uptime and even promise compensation if downtime exceeds one minute.

In stark contrast, phanes.cloud’s support is slow, uninformed, and unable to resolve critical issues in a timely manner, leaving you stranded long after the problem should have been fixed.

However, phanes.cloud’s downtime recovery times have completely redefined my understanding of the word “abysmal”! Their after-sales support response is excruciatingly slow—no replies at all on weekends, even if your server crashes, you’re left completely on your own.

Friends, take a look at a website I spent countless hours building—phanes.cloud literally lost all my data. This level of server instability and data loss is absolutely unacceptable.

Five Days of Downtime with No Recovery, Ending in Complete Data Loss

It’s hard to fathom how their servers could remain down for five days without any resolution—only to result in total data loss. This is absolutely unbelievable.

phanes.cloud is utterly terrible—they have no concept of service. In fact, they’re just the old Flaunt7 under a new name, running a one-time scam operation to swindle customers.

3). Email Ports Are Blocked by Default — Unbelievable

Port 465 (used for sending secure emails) is universally open and unrestricted by nearly all reputable hosting providers. But with phanes.cloud, once again, I had my understanding of the word “unbelievable” completely redefined.

I even had to email their support just to request the basic functionality of opening a standard email port on my server.

At first, my request was automatically rejected by them by default.

Friends, have you ever seen a hosting provider that doesn’t even open standard email ports?!

This is absolutely unbelievable — how can a server company block port 465, the standard for sending emails? It clearly shows how weak and unreliable their infrastructure is — so bad it can’t even handle a few standard email messages.

Later, I discovered a less-known port they overlooked, which allowed me to barely send test emails. But for the vast majority of mainstream email ports, emails simply could not be delivered properly on phanes.cloud — not even legitimate, compliant e-commerce emails.

During further testing, I temporarily activated multiple servers from phanes.cloud. I issued a clear warning: if they refused to open the standard email ports, I would immediately terminate all cooperation. It seems this shady company realized I might be a high-volume customer — only then did they finally open the ports.

4). Too Many System Bugs

For example, after activating a new server, I even do not know what the SSH password was. Unbelievably, they didn’t provide it automatically, and I had to send a support email just to ask for this basic and essential login information again and again.

Such a minor bug could be easily fixed with just a few lines of code by any decent developer — but phanes.cloud seems completely unwilling to fix it.

But their standard reply is always the same: “We have informed our team and hope to resolve it soon.” — yet the issue is never actually resolved!

Even their 2FA (Two-Factor Authentication) login module is something you should absolutely avoid — because it can lead to some truly unexpected problems:

You enable 2FA to protect your account from being hacked. Later, you find it extremely inconvenient to enter the 2FA code every time you log in, so you decide to disable it. Then comes the surprise — after disabling 2FA, you suddenly can’t access your server control panel at all!

You’ll be forced to contact their support team just to manually remove the 2FA code.

The official website of phanes.cloud is actually built with WordPress, and I’ve even seen it taken down by hackers — completely inaccessible at times.

With such a serious vulnerability, it’s clear how unreliable and underdeveloped phanes.cloud really is. It’s a fragile platform that lacks both security and professionalism.

5). MYSQL Database Is Unstable and Unreliable

After using phanes.cloud for a period of time, I discovered that the MySQL database is extremely unstable on their servers — it frequently stops working intermittently.

At first, I didn’t pay much attention to the issue. I even wrote a script to automatically monitor and restart MySQL whenever it failed.

The server database fails to start — what a huge joke! From now on, I’ve decided to completely and fully give up on this terrible server!

As far as I know, friends who have used this server have all encountered the same issues I reported. Yet, up until now, they keep denying the problems and claim their server is “running perfectly.”

Phanes.cloud has been a very disappointing experience for me. I lost over 5,000 euros due to their unreliable service, which is hard to believe given my 10+ years of experience in website development. When I asked for a refund, they refused and insisted that their service was “good.” Furthermore, their server suffered disk failures, causing me to lose all my data. They later said that helping me recover the data was just a “courtesy,” effectively avoiding responsibility. This kind of behavior raises serious concerns about their trustworthiness.

Today, I spent a lot of time exposing this fraudulent company to help prevent more people from being scammed. It’s important to bring such unreliable companies into the light so they have nowhere to hide.
I believe that justice will eventually catch up with them.
